Home Based Waiver Aide
Position Overview
The Home Based Waiver Aide provides one-on-one assistance with activities of daily living and personal care to adult and/or pediatric patients. These services are set for in the Individual Service Plan (ISP) developed by The Office of Intellectual Disabilities and in accordance with policy and procedures of Associates Home Care. The Home Based Waiver aide provides service under the direct supervision of a licensed professional clinician.
Education / Experience / Training
- High school graduate, or GED equivalent.
- Minimum passing score of 70% on the organization’s written competency test at hire.
- Ability to read and write English.
- Ability to provide care in a kind and compassionate manner.
- Minimum of two (2) year current experience working with MH/MR population preferred.
- If working with children, a minimum of one (1) year current pediatric experience working with children preferred.
- Negative FBI criminal background check.
- Negative child abuse reference check.
- TB skin testing, drug screening.
- Post offer physical exam
- Must have a car in good operation condition that is registered and insured and a state driver’s license in good standing, or reliable transportation.

Home Health Aide
Position Overview
The Home Health Aide provides bathing, personal care, assistance with activities of daily living and home support as instructed to adult and/or pediatric patients requiring personal care services. These services are provided in accordance with policy and procedures of Associates Home Care. The Home Health aide services are provided under the direct supervision of a licensed professional clinician.
Education / Experience / Training
- High school graduate, or GED equivalent.
- Minimum passing score of 70% on the organization’s written competency test at hire.
- Successful completion of a 70 hour course of classroom and clinical instruction in personal care of the elderly and disabled.
- Ability to read and write English.
- Ability to provide care in a kind and compassionate manner.
- Minimum of two (2) year current experience as an aide preferred.
- If working with children, a minimum of one (1) year current pediatric experience working with children preferred.
- Negative FBI criminal background check.
- Negative child abuse reference check.
- TB skin testing, drug screening.
- Post offer physical exam.
